1. Farmers are encouraged to plant trees so that they can contribute towards environmental protection.
2. Fruit plants are distributed to the member farmers so that the problem of malnutrition among the children and women of the family sitting in the village and Dhani can be solved.
3. The health check-up of the animals of the member farmers is done free of cost every quarter or on the information given by the farmer and necessary medical facilities are also provided.
4. Due to the commitment of conservation and promotion of indigenous cows, motivate farmers to raise pure indigenous cows and help them take advantage of government schemes for this and Dunes also provides an incentive of 2000 on the purchase of certified A2 cows.
The practice of producing milk and delivery of services and goods in such way that is not harmful to society or the environment. The whole complete process is much more important to the consumers, that’s why we ensure some basic things/ steps .which are very important to delivere the superior quality products.
Steps are as follows:
Animal Health And Cleanliness: Maintaining good health of animals not only enhances the quality of milk and increases its impact not only on human health but also on our environment. Unhealthy cattle are unproductive, so it is ensured by taking active care of the cattle by our farmers and whether the place where the animals live is clean or not. From time to time the cleanliness of the animal is also taken care of and its health is also checked. The life span of infectious agents/disease-causing microorganisms varies. Many viruses and bacteria have short life spans outside of a host, from hours to days. However, others can live a long time with the right environmental conditions for them (anthrax, foot and mouth disease). Removing organic material such as dirt, feed and manure is the first step in the cleaning process.
Milk quality and hygiene milking: Before taking milk from any farmer, the breed of cow reared by him and its milk is checked to ensure that the cow is of pure Indian breed and its milk is also pure A2. After this is confirmed, that farmer is tied up with the Dunes Farmer’s family and constrained to take it cleanly and take it to the Dunes Milk Collection Center as soon as possible after milking and he does this work with complete sincerity. And for doing it better, the price of milk is given more than usual. And this process is monitored by our field officials by visited at farmer’s farms randomly at the time of milking. There is a fixed time for our milk we do not receive the milk. We are using ASI 304 S.S grade mik cans for maintaining the hygiene and also having cold room at our VLC ( VILLAGE COLLECTION CENTER) As soon as the milk is taken, it is checked and kept in a cold room so that any kind of bacterial growth can be stopped in it. This whole process is designed to collect superior quality of milk and maintaining it too.
Ration management : Our cow’s/ cattle are not ordinary they are happy cow’s/ cattle because there are free for open grazing in our farmers field by there own choices at there own . In our area we have lack of cannal water every thing is grown naturally and free from any kind of fertilizer. our area is full of khejarli tree that is good feed for them to eat. After open grazing when our cattle/ cow’s comes back our farmers feed there cattle nutritionally balanced ration (we call as ‘food’ of what ourselves eat. The same is known as ‘ration’ in the case of animals.) Under guidelines of our medical team and feed experts. Without proper food I.e. ration cattle cannot grow well , cannot keep good health nor produce quality milk that’s why we have to feed them nutritionally balanced and adequate quantity of ration according to there body need .it Lead to the safer food supply for all leading to fewer diseases and adverse effects on the consumers. Has significantly reduced environmental impacts. Leads to the reduced dependency on the use of antibiotics. Improve the animal well being and health leading to a better place.
Environment : Both the Dunes Milk Processing Unit and its farmers are in the Thar region of Rajasthan. Where there is very little connectivity and few motor vehicles and in the lap of nature free from urban congestion and pollution .Our cow also roams freely here where she stays away from alI kinds of pollution and products made from her milk are also prepared here in this environment Because today looking which are of great help after the rain at the condition of the industrial area, it seems that it is almost impossible to make pure food items there and Considering the increasing pollution of all kinds on this earth, one of which is plastic, so most of our products are packed in containers made of glass or clay.
